PASMA Training

Pre-fabricated Access Suppliers and Manufacturers Association (aka PASMA)

Working at height raises many health and safety concerns for employees in the building and maintenance industry. Mobile access towers are widely used when working at height and provide a stable platform to work from. PASMA training ensures operatives working at height have the training required to assemble, dis-mantle, alter and use mobile access towers safely. City Access Training Ltd offers the PASMA one day training course either at our training centre or on-site.

The PASMA course considers all aspects involving the safe use of tower structures for working at heights with minimal risk. This is a recognised course and complies with the Work at Height Regulations 2005.

The Work at Height Regulations 2005 requires that the assembly, dis-mantling and alteration of Mobile Access Towers (MATs) should only be carried out by a competent person. Workers are able to prove their competence in such work with the PASMA card and certificate, awarded upon successful completion of training.

The PASMA card is one of the premier and most accepted qualifications to hold. The card is valid for 5 years and confirms the holder as a competent person in safe assembly, dismantling, alteration, moving, inspection and use of Mobile Access Towers.
